FAQ

If your question isn’t listed here, feel free to get in touch with us directly and one of our team will answer your queries.

Accredited Exercise Physiologists are university qualified Allied Health Professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities. Pathology domains covered by the services of AEPs include cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, musculoskeletal, cancers, kidney, respiratory/pulmonary and mental health, and any other conditions for which there is evidence that exercise can improve the your clinical status.

It doesn’t end there, however, as we are also trained in Strength and Conditioning, fitness, weight loss and general wellbeing programming and training. So, even you do not not fit into any of the categories above, but would like the help of a university trained exercise professional, we can help you!

We don’t offer Bulk Billing as a general rule and we do charge a gap fee on our sessions. The gap fee will differ based on the length of the session and we offer 30 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute sessions, depending on the nature of what we are working on. Some conditions require a longer session duration than others.

That depends almost entirely on your level of cover. We are registered with all of the Private Health Funds and if you have a good level of cover, it is very likely that you will be able to claim a portion of your sessions back.

No, we do not have a HICAPS terminal. Typically, for private paying sessions, payment is made at the end of the session and an invoice will be automatically generated, which will be sent to you at the time of the end of the scheduled session. From there, you can claim your rebate online with your registered provider.

Yes, we are. We have been working in the NDIS space since day one and have helped hundreds of NDIS participants in that time.

At our St Peters and Five Dock locations, there is good parking available with lift access at Five Dock. Both of these locations provide very easy access if you have any mobility issues or concerns.
