Clinical Exercise Physiologist

BExSc/MScExPhys (ACU) - AEP - ESSAM

Hello there, my name is Gareth Ingerson and I’m an Exercise Physiologist with 7 years of experience working within private practice, NGO’s and community based organisations. My experience has covered a wide range of clients, conditions and scenarios within the allied health profession. I have worked with all age groups from two years of age, young people, adults and seniors as wise as 100 years of age.

I have worked extensively in the aged care sector, allowing me to experience what it is like to age gracefully, healthily and with joy. The human body is a marvellous system, though there are speed bumps that obscure our journey from time to time. Whether it is a condition that is well known and has extensive research to treat, or a complex progressive disorder that requires continuous care; exercise is one of the most successful modalities by which we can treat, cure or slow down most conditions.

In order to achieve the best possible outcomes, my personal philosophy and passion centres around the goals of our clients. My experience within the mental health field has allowed me to build further on my interpersonal skills, as we all have different ways we like to communicate our personal and vulnerable information. Our setting at the Five dock gym is a great place to come and exercise. My mission is to make this environment accessible to any and all people. Whatever your goal is, we can work together to obtain your desired outcome. Whether you are motivated, require a little push or are contemplating your future with your health goals, I would be more than happy to have a conversation about what we can do to help you at EP360. I can be reached at gareth.ingerson@ep360.com.au.
